One of the kings of comedy in the minor leagues is gone. Myron Noodleman, whose real name is Rick Hader, died on Wednesday after a battle with an aggressive form of cancer. The disease kept him from performing in ballparks as Noodleman and away from his day job as a high school teacher. Read more here.

PRESS RELEASE – Minor League Baseball today announced that the Brooklyn Cyclones, Class-A Affiliate of the New York Mets, are the 2017 recipient of the Larry MacPhail Award. The award is given annually to one MiLB franchise in recognition of their exceptional promotions and marketing efforts both on the field and in the community.
