Salvi, owner of the Gary SouthShore RailCats (American Association, Independent Professional), Schaumburg Boomers (Frontier League, Independent Professional), and North Shore Navigators (Futures League, Summer Collegiate), has been selected to the Illinois Super Lawyers Top 10 List for 2017. Fraser Field turns 75 years old this upcoming summer so needless to say, there have been plenty of big games played right here in Lynn. The North Shore Navigators are adding to that list as on Tuesday afternoon General Manager Bill Terlecky announced that his ball club will be hosting the 2015 Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) All-Star Game. The summer collegiate North Shore Navigators (Futures League) hope to sell 1,500 numbered golf balls for $20 each for a unique golf ball raffle for charity. On Sunday, June 29, the golf balls will be dropped onto the playing surface at Fraser Field from a hovering helicopter. Prizes will be awarded based on distance from the “pin.” Proceeds will go to Lynn Babe Ruth League and the Lynn Shore Little League.
