RailCats, Boomers, Navigators Owner Named Top 10 Super Lawyer
Patrick A. Salvi, owner of the Gary SouthShore RailCats (American Association, Independent Professional), Schaumburg Boomers (Frontier League, Independent Professional), and North Shore Navigators (Futures League, Summer Collegiate), has been selected to the Illinois Super Lawyers Top 10 List for 2017. Navs Helicopter Golf Ball Drop for Charity
The summer collegiate North Shore Navigators (Futures League) hope to sell 1,500 numbered golf balls for $20 each for a unique golf ball raffle for charity. On Sunday, June 29, the golf balls will be dropped onto the playing surface at Fraser Field from a hovering helicopter. Prizes will be awarded based on distance from the “pin.” Proceeds will go to Lynn Babe Ruth League and the Lynn Shore Little League.

Navigators to Wear Lynn Red Sox Throwback Unis
PRESS RELEASE – This season, Sunday games at Fraser Field will take the crowd back to 1946. The North Shore Navigators will be sporting throwback Lynn Red Sox jerseys on Sundays and other selected dates during their sixth season. Salvis to Buy NECBL Navigators, Team Will Shift to Futures League
Chicago lawyer Pat Salvi and his wife Lindy, owners of the indy pro Gary SouthShore RailCats (American Association) and Schaumburg Boomers (Frontier League), have reportedly agreed to purchase the North Shore Navigators (New England Collegiate Baseball League) in Lynn (MA) and move the team to the second-year Futures Collegiate Baseball League. New Owner on Deck in Lynn
The New England Collegiate Baseball League’s North Shore (Lynn, MA) Navigators will be under new ownership at the end of the season. Tim Haley, the Navs’ director of business operations, is buying the team from owner Phil Rosenfield. This has been in the work for awhile, as Haley, a financial planner, came on board to get his feet wet with the Navs’ operation before taking the reins. Read more here.
