The Potomac Nationals (Single-A, Carolina League) confirmed at their Hot Stove Banquet on Sunday that the club has extended its lease to play at Pfitzner Stadium until the 2020 season. They also have the option to end the lease early if they are able to find the opportunity to move into a new stadium elsewhere. Read more here.

Now that a ballpark deal for the Potomac Nationals (Single-A, Carolina League) in Prince William County (VA) is apparently dead, where will the team go? Owner Art Silber says he wants to keep the team in Northern Virginia. Loudoun County supervisor Ron Meyer reportedly said the team is more than welcome there. Spotsylvania County is a possibility.
