PRESS RELEASE – For 28 years the St. Paul Saints introduced the baseball world to pigs delivering baseballs to umpires, nuns giving massages to fans, and promotions poking fun at current events, politics, the baseball industry, and oftentimes themselves, all while being an Independent Professional Baseball Club. The Saints “Fun is Good” motto is about to enter center stage on a completely different level. The Saints, in a partnership with the Minnesota Twins, have received an invitation to become the top tier, Triple-A, Minor League affiliate of their Twin Cities neighbor beginning in the 2021 season.

“Nopening Day” Today for St. Paul Saints

Plans for Shakopee Ballpark Formally Announced, American Association Targeted
Plans were formally announced this week for an 8,500-seat baseball stadium in Shakopee (MN) that a newly formed minor league team will call home. A goal for the team is to be a part of the American Association (Independent Professional) and revive the old-time rivalry between the Minneapolis Millers and the St. Paul Saints. Read more here. Saints to Honor Building-Scaling Raccoon
PRESS RELEASE – She was one of us and the world wrapped their arms around our #MPRRaccoon. Not all heroes wear capes and ours climbed her way into the hearts of many, along with one of the highest buildings in Saint Paul. While many consider Minnesota a state you flyover to get to your destination, our hero proved this was an area she didn’t want to leave. She has now been returned safely into the wild, but her story will live forever and the St. Paul Saints plan on honoring the greatest raccoon known to man, since perhaps Rocket Raccoon, as they change their name for a day.

Saints 25-Year Documentary Coming to the Big Screen
PRESS RELEASE – The St. Paul Saints entered Minnesota in 1992 and played their first game in 1993. Many thought this plucky little organization wouldn’t last past that first year. Rosemont (IL) Reveals Plans for American Association Ballpark
Under plans revealed Tuesday by Rosemont (IL) Mayor Brad Stephens, a new American Association baseball franchise would take up residence at proposed $50-$60 million, 7,000-seat baseball stadium in 2018. The preliminary site plan was developed by Minneapolis-based Snow Kreilich Architects, which designed CHS Field, home of the league’s St. Paul Saints. Read more here.
