PRESS RELEASE – The St. Paul Saints entered Minnesota in 1992 and played their first game in 1993. Many thought this plucky little organization wouldn’t last past that first year. The “little engine that could,” however has brought millions of people joy, laughter, and long-lasting memories. Now a brand-new documentary, For the Fun of the Game, created, written, directed and produced by Saints Director of Digital Media and Video Production, Jordan Lynn, will be featured as part of the “Insiders Series” for the Twin Cities Film Fest.
The owners of the St. Paul Saints (Independent Professional, American Association) are seeking an exemption from having to pay its players Minnesota’s minimum wage. The Saints say without the exemption, the baseball team runs into a problem with a league rule limiting club payrolls. Read more here.
PRESS RELEASE – The New York Yankees have Monument Park. The St. Paul Saints will now have Monument Pork. In an ode to one of the most iconic live mascots in all of baseball the organization is honoring three of the most deserving four-legged swines in franchise history. In addition to the unveiling of this special area, the Saints are giving away a unique triple bobblehead commemorating the three little pigs.
The St. Paul Saints (Independent Professional, American Association) have unveiled the new Summit Brewing Company Brewing Balcony at CHS Field. This exclusive area comes with food and the first of its kind in a sports venue, self-pour beer tap highlighting four of Summit’s most sought after brews. Read more here.
