PRESS RELEASE – A Maverick amongst their peers, the Thunder, presented by NJM Insurance, are pleased to announce their 2020 Top Gun Series at ARM & HAMMER Park beginning Tuesday, June 23 and continuing through Thursday, June 25.
“I haven’t lost any lovin’ feeling for Top Gun since it came out when I was a young man,” said Thunder GM/COO Jeff Hurley. “I will certainly be one of the first people in line to buzz the tower when Top Gun 2 comes out this summer.”
Fans can purchase a special individual ticket package for Top Gun Week which will include a ticket to any of the three games in the series and a Thunder Military Koozie. Ticket packages can be purchased here.
Throughout the three-game series against the Hartford Yard Goats, the Thunder will take the field wearing special jerseys and both Tuesday and Wednesday will feature Top Gun-related giveaways.
Tuesday, June 23 will have a Top Gun T-Shirt Giveaway and Wednesday, June 24 will feature a Top Gun Hat Giveaway. Both giveaways will be to the first 1,000 fans, ages 18 and older. Top Gun Week wraps up on Thursday, June 25 with a special post-game fireworks show set to Top Gun themed music.
In addition to the giveaways and themed jerseys, Thunder fans can pour one out for a favorite Top Gun character, Nick “Goose” Bradshaw. Fans of age can enjoy $5 Goose Island IPA drafts throughout all three games taking place during Top Gun Week.
