The Staten Island Yankees (Single-A, New York-Penn League) will celebrate one of the greatest desserts ever with Cannoli Appreciation Night on Monday, August 8. Fans will celebrate their love for the almighty cannoli at the ballpark with free cannoli with ticket purchase, cannoli hats on sale in the team store, cannoli sold in concessions, a cannoli eating contest, and more.

Author and creator of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones George R.R. Martin will be in attendance at Richmond County Bank Ballpark tonight to sign autographs as the Baby Bombers become the Staten Island Direwolves, complete with a live wolf mascot at the stadium. The team will wear special jerseys to be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary. The visiting Hudson Valley Renegades will don House Lannister-inspired jerseys.
