Expedition League’s Inaugural All-Star Game Tonight

The start-up Expedition League (Summer Collegiate) will hold its inaugural All-Star Game and Home Run Derby at Duncan Field in Hastings (NE) on Monday July 2, 2018.  The All-Star Game logo was designed to highlight the region’s rich agricultural history as well as the sandhill crane migration through Central Nebraska each year.  Learn more and view rosters here.

Pioneer League, Northwest League Extend All-Star Pact

Bluefish to Host 2015 Atlantic League All-Star Game, Release Logo

Part of Whitecaps’ Ballpark Destroyed by Fire

During the summer collegiate Northwoods League All-Star Game last night at Carson Park, home of the Eau Claire Express, the Star Tribune’s Patrick Reusse had a chance to talk with NWL chief Dick Radatz, Jr.  Reusse’s story is a bit of a rehash of the story we posted on July 9, but it’s worth a read.   That said, it’s very old news that the league is targeting the Twin Cities for expansion and its franchise fee is $1 million.  Read more here.

Eau Claire Hosting Banquet Tonight, NWL All-Star Game Tuesday
