Navs Helicopter Golf Ball Drop for Charity
The summer collegiate North Shore Navigators (Futures League) hope to sell 1,500 numbered golf balls for $20 each for a unique golf ball raffle for charity. On Sunday, June 29, the golf balls will be dropped onto the playing surface at Fraser Field from a hovering helicopter. Prizes will be awarded based on distance from the “pin.” Proceeds will go to Lynn Babe Ruth League and the Lynn Shore Little League.

Salvis to Buy NECBL Navigators, Team Will Shift to Futures League
Chicago lawyer Pat Salvi and his wife Lindy, owners of the indy pro Gary SouthShore RailCats (American Association) and Schaumburg Boomers (Frontier League), have reportedly agreed to purchase the North Shore Navigators (New England Collegiate Baseball League) in Lynn (MA) and move the team to the second-year Futures Collegiate Baseball League.
