Navs Break Attendance Record

PRESS RELEASE – Eastern Bank has signed on to be the presenting sponsor of the Futures Collegiate League All-Star game, which will be held on July 21, 2015 at Fraser Field in Lynn.

Navs Helicopter Golf Ball Drop for Charity

The summer collegiate North Shore Navigators (Futures League) hope to sell 1,500 numbered golf balls for $20 each for a unique golf ball raffle for charity.  On Sunday, June 29, the golf balls will be dropped onto the playing surface at Fraser Field from a hovering helicopter.  Prizes will be awarded based on distance from the “pin.”  Proceeds will go to Lynn Babe Ruth League and the Lynn Shore Little League.

Fraser Field Gets New Artificial Turf

PRESS RELEASE – The new artificial surface being installed this week at Lynn’s Fraser Field won’t prevent World Series-style “obstruction calls” by umpires, but it will mean no more mud puddles and less rain postponements at the historic 73-year-old baseball stadium.

Long-Term Lease Extension for Navigators

The Lynn (MA) Stadium Commission on Tuesday approved a new long-term lease extension for the summer collegiate North Shore Navigators (Futures Collegiate Baseball League) to continue using Fraser Field for the next seven years through 2020.  Read more here.

Salvis to Buy NECBL Navigators, Team Will Shift to Futures League

Chicago lawyer Pat Salvi and his wife Lindy, owners of the indy pro Gary SouthShore RailCats (American Association) and Schaumburg Boomers (Frontier League), have reportedly agreed to purchase the North Shore Navigators (New England Collegiate Baseball League) in Lynn (MA) and move the team to the second-year Futures Collegiate Baseball League.  The team plays at Fraser Field.  Read more here
