NYC Committing $5.1M to Upgrade Richmond County Bank Ballpark

New York City has committed to a $5.1 million allocation to upgrade and revitalize Richmond County Bank Ballpark, which will prime it for other uses besides baseball. The funding comes on the heels of recent news that the New York Yankees would end its affiliation with the Staten Island Yankees (Single-A, New York-Penn League).  Read more here.

NYCEDC Issues RFP for Retail Space Next to S.I. Yanks Home

As commercial real estate is snapped up in the St. George area, one location has been conspicuously undeveloped — a 7,500-square-foot retail space operated by the New York City Economic Development Corp. adjacent to the Richmond County Bank Ballpark, home of the Staten Island Yankees (Single-A, New York-Penn League).  Read more here.

Staten Island Ballpark Naming Rights Extended

Beatles Fans Pack S.I. Yankees’ Ballpark for Beatles Tribute

Staten Island Yankees LogoNearly 5,000 fans packed Richmond County Bank Ballpark, home of the Single-A Staten Island Yankees (New York-Penn League), on Friday for the second-annual “Beatles Blast.”  Radio show deejay Ken Dashow of Q104.2 FM was the emcee of the show, which featured Fab Four cover bands singing the group’s most popular hits.  Read more and view photos here.

Triple-A Yankees Headed to St. George?

Human Flag to Mark Anniversary at S.I. Yankees Ballpark
