The Staten Island Yankees (Single-A, New York-Penn League) will celebrate one of the greatest desserts ever with Cannoli Appreciation Night on Monday, August 8. Fans will celebrate their love for the almighty cannoli at the ballpark with free cannoli with ticket purchase, cannoli hats on sale in the team store, cannoli sold in concessions, a cannoli eating contest, and more.
PRESS RELEASE – In 1999, the Staten Island Yankees were introduced to New York’s “forgotten borough,” giving baseball fans from the Island a professional sports team to call their own.
