After nearly 15 years as the naming rights sponsor of the city-owned ballpark, Dr Pepper is stepping back. The Plano (TX)-based company’s contract expires at the end of September, meaning a new corporate team will get to put its moniker on the home of the Frisco RoughRiders (Double-A, Texas League). Dr. Pepper Ballpark Hosting Cavalia’s ‘Odysseo’ Under the Big White Top
Cavalia’s Odysseo, a $30 million equestrian spectacular filled with music, visuals and amazing physical feats, can bee seen under the Big White Top at Dr. Pepper Ballpark, home of the Frisco Roughriders (Texas League), from Jan.30 to Feb. 22. Dr. Pepper Ballpark Investing to Host More Events
The operators of Dr. Pepper Ballpark, home of the Double-A Frisco RoughRiders (Texas League), plans to spend $1 million in upgrading the facility’s food services, as part of a push to become an events destination for non-baseball game days. A new website has even been launched to drive this effort.
