RoughRiders Celebrate 8-Millionth Fan

Danielle Schneider of Highland Village is the grand prize winner of the Frisco RoughRiders’ 8 Millionth Fan Celebration Thursday night at Dr Pepper Ballpark.  Schneider is officially the 8 Millionth Fan in franchise regular-season history and won season tickets for life, Raising Cane’s for a year and a Choctaw Lazy River package valued at $8,888. After nearly 15 years as the naming rights sponsor of the city-owned ballpark, Dr Pepper is stepping back. The Plano (TX)-based company’s contract expires at the end of September, meaning a new corporate team will get to put its moniker on the home of the Frisco RoughRiders (Double-A, Texas League).  Read more here.

RoughRiders Announce Dambach to Relocate to Pennsylvania, Will Retain Bulk of His Duties

PRESS RELEASE – The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, today announced that Executive Vice President & General Manager Jason Dambach will be relocating and returning to his native Pennsylvania for family reasons. RoughRiders Add Lucas to Broadcast Team

PRESS RELEASE – The Frisco RoughRiders are pleased to announce the addition of Nate Lucas to the organization’s broadcast team for the 2015 season.
