Rockers Close to Naming Mascot, Final Voting Underway

The High Point Rockers (Independent Professional, Atlantic League) have narrowed the list of possible names for the team’s mascot to nine, including Buck, Giddy Up, Hay Hay, Hobby, Thunder, Hutch, Hype, Ribbie and Splinter.  Fans have until Sunday, April 28th at midnight to vote for their favorite.  Click here to vote.  In cased you missed it, the team unveiled their uniforms last month.  Watch news report here.

Jumbo Shrimp Announce Name the Mascot Contest

PRESS RELEASE – The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are asking fans to help name the new Shrimp mascot, who is presented by Tom Bush Family of Dealerships and will be unveiled on Opening Night, Wednesday, April 12, at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. The contest winner will receive season tickets and a chance to participate in the unveiling ceremony.

Growlers Announce Mascot Final Four

After reviewing over 1,000 suggestions for naming the team’s mascot, the summer collegiate Kalamazoo Growlers (Northwoods League) have narrowed the list to a Final Four.  Fans can now cast their votes to determine which of the finalists will advance to the final round.  Learn more and cast your vote here.  We’re expecting a Barley vs. Burp showdown.

Whitecaps Announce Name the New Mascot Contest

PRESS RELEASE – We are asking fans to help decide the name of the latest fuzzy addition. This new furry friend will be a female River Rascal to go along with the Whitecaps main mascot Crash the River Rascal.
