Timber Rattlers 2015 Promotional Calendar: Theme Nights & Special Appearances

Wisconsin Timber RattlersPRESS RELEASE – The final part of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers promotional calendar is ready to be unveiled. The team is bringing back some of the theme nights and special days from past seasons and adding some new ones for 2015.

Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 2015 PromosFROZEN DAY: Elsa and Anna return to the stadium in late April on Saturday, April 25. There will be a chance to meet royalty in a pregame tea party or during the game and – maybe – a song or two courtesy of Dairy Queen and Cupcake Couture.

GIRL SCOUT DAY: Discounted tickets are available for Girl Scout Troops on Sunday, April 26. All Girl Scouts attending the game may participate in a pregame parade on the field.

SUPERHERO DAY #1: Marvel’s Mighty Thor and Invincible Iron Man will be at the ballpark on Saturday, May 2 for the first of two Superhero games during the 2015 season. You can be part of a special meeting of The Avengers in the Fox Communities Credit Union Fox Club before the game, but make your reservations early because space is limited. If you can’t join the meeting, Thor and Iron Man will meet fans during the game, too. Come on out for pictures in your own costumes. We won’t make you reveal your secret identity.

FOX 11 WEATHER DAY:  The FOX 11 Weather Team will be on hand for a pregame presentation and meet & greet. Plus, fans will be able to check out the Wisconsin Storm Chaser Vehicles in front of the stadium on Tuesday, May 12.

HALLOWEEN IN MAY: The spookiest night of the year makes an appearance during the baseball season thanks to YouthGo on Saturday, May 16. The evening will feature costume contests, Trick-or-Treat, and ghosts will be busted by some special guests that we invited when we answered the question, “Who you gonna call?”.

BARK IN THE PARK:  Pet parents and their pups are invited to attend the game on Sunday, May 17 by the Timber Rattlers, Fox Valley Animal Referral Center, and Fromm Family Foods. The left field berm area will be set aside for canines to enjoy the day at the ballpark. This is also the day of the Hank the Dog Bobblehead!

STAR WARS NIGHT:  The Jedi, Imperial Stormtroopers, and various other characters return to the Fox Cities for Star Wars Night on Saturday, May 30. Timber Rattlers players will wear Star Wars™ themed jerseys. Fans could take home one of those jerseys if they win the silent auction that will be held during the game. Stick around for a postgame fireworks display to the music of the movies.

STRIKE OUT STIGMA DAY:  NAMI Fox Valley and the Timber Rattlers team up on Sunday, May 31 to host a Mental Health Awareness day at the stadium.

SALUTE TO COWS:  America’s Dairyland wouldn’t be possible without cows and the Timber Rattlers want to recognize the contributions of Wisconsin’s bovines with Salute to Cows presented by Milk Source on Thursday, June 4. Players and coaches will wear specially designed cow-patterned jerseys during the game and a silent auction will be held to allow fans to take one home if they submit the winning bid. There will be plenty going on before and during the game to honor this important Wisconsin industry, too.

FAITH NIGHT: Stick around after the game on Friday, June 5 for a concert by Danen Kane presented by 91.9, The Family.

BACK TO THE FUTURE NIGHT:  Put some garbage in the flux capacitor and bring out the DeLorean as the Timber Rattlers will be wearing special jerseys based on the uniforms of the mid-80’s Appleton Foxes on Saturday, June 6. Don’t have a DeLorean? That’s okay. We’ll have one at the stadium that you’ll be able to see.

HANK THE DOG: The Dog of the Year will be at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium on Sunday, June 7. Hank the Dog will be available to meet fans and pose for photographs. See the Ballpark Pup!

PEANUT FREE NIGHTS:  The first two home games of the second half will be peanut-free. There will be no peanuts allowed in the stadium on Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26 so that fans with peanut allergies may attend a game.

STORYBOOK PRINCESS NIGHT #1:  It’s a whole new world on Friday, June 26 when the storybook princesses come back to the ballpark. They will host a VIP Tea Party in the Fox Communities Credit Union Fox Club before the game and space will be limited. If you miss out on the VIP Tea Party, the princesses are available to meet fans for pictures during the game, too!

STRIKE OUT STROKE: Neuroscience Group will have the MEGA Brain outside the stadium on Saturday, June 27 as an attraction and to raise awareness for brain health and the signs of stroke. MEGA Brain, the world’s only inflatable, walk-through brain exhibit will be available for fans to take guided tours.

AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION CPR NIGHT: On Monday, June 29, the American Heart Association will be on hand and getting the word out on the importance of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation

MILITARY APPRECIATION WEEKEND:  The Timber Rattlers will be wearing special Military Themed jerseys during both games against the Beloit Snappers on Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5. The Rattlers and American National Bank present Military Appreciation Weekend with special ticket offers for active and retired military personnel.

LADIES NIGHT:  Avenue Jewelers presents Ladies Night on Wednesday, July 15. There will be gift bags, specials, “Win A Date with a Rattler” auctions, and a postgame Diamond Dig for the ladies.

MEET MIKE JIRSCHELE:  Kansas City Royals third base coach – and Clintonville native – Mike Jirschele will make an appearance at the game on Thursday, July 16 to meet and greet fans. Jirschele’s appearance is made possible by Dairy Queen. This date is also the game the first 1,000 fans to enter the ballpark will receive a Mike Jirschele bobblehead courtesy of Klein Automotive.

BOY SCOUT SLEEPOVER:  Boy Scout Troops should reserve their tickets for the game on Friday, July 17 for an opportunity to camp under the stars on the outfield of Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium after the game presented by Fox Valley Animal Referral Center.

MINION NIGHT: The Rattlers celebrate the most underrated characters in popular culture on Friday, July 17. We are talking about the henchmen.

SUPERHERO NIGHT #2: DC gets their night at the stadium on Friday, July 24 when Batman and The Flash will be here. The Dark Knight and The Fastest Man Alive will meet fans during the game. Plus, the Justice League will hold a meeting before the game in the Fox Communities Credit Union Fox Club. Reserve your spot early because space is limited.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY:  We’re dreaming of a WARM Christmas on Saturday, July 25. Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium will be transformed into Santa’s Workshop for this Christmas in July.

STRIKE OUT CANCER DAY:  McClone Insurance and Bergstrom Automotive present Strike Out Cancer Day to benefit local families battling pediatric cancer. The day will also feature a Locks of Love Drive, courtesy of Shear Chaos Salon. Be the Match will also be at the game with information on how to be a bone marrow match and donate.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT: Summer vacation will be nearing its end on Tuesday, August 11 and the Rattlers want to help parents and students get ready to get back to school. There will be plenty going on before and during the game plus there’s a drawstring backpack available to the first 1,000 kids 12 & under to attend the game courtesy of Fox River Mall.

EMERGENCY VEHICLES NIGHT:  Police departments, fire departments, and first responders are bringing their vehicles out to the stadium on Thursday, August 13. Fans can take a look at the gear on the way into the stadium.

FANG’S BIRTHDAY:  Fang T. Rattler will celebrate his birthday in style on Friday, August 14. Mascots of area sports teams and businesses will face off in a kickball game before the Timber Rattlers take the field. Don’t miss the party!

STORYBOOK PRINCESS NIGHT #2: We couldn’t do this just once. Fairy tale royalty comes back to the ballpark on Saturday, August 15. They will host another VIP Tea Party in the Fox Communities Credit Union Fox Club before this game and space is also limited on this date. The princesses will be available to meet fans for pictures during this game, too!

KIDS ROCK THE BALLPARK:  A final fling for the kids on Tuesday, August 25 before they head back to school with this day game.

The Timber Rattlers will begin their 21st season of baseball on April 9, 2015 with a road game. Wisconsin’s home opener is Sunday, April 12 at 4:05pm against the Peoria Chiefs.

Full season, partial season, and group ticket packages are currently available for the 2015 season.Tickets packages are available online, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER and in person. Groups of 20 or more may order tickets over the phone or in person. Individual game tickets for the 2015 season go on sale Saturday, March 7. The Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium Box Office is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
