ESPN 3 to Broadcast Atlantic League All-Star Game July 16

Atlantic League LogoPRESS RELEASE – Atlantic League fans who are not able to make the trip to Sugar Land, Texas for the 2014 Atlantic League All-Star Game now have a viewing option to watch their favorite players from around the league.

Sugar Land Skeeters Atlantic League All-Star Game on ESPN 3ESPN 3 will broadcast the 2014 Atlantic League All-Star Game, with coverage beginning at 6:45 PM EST. The coverage will include the Home Run Derby and on-field interviews with players, managers and coaches, leading up to the game broadcast beginning at 8 PM EST. Play-by-play broadcaster Ira Liebman and analyst Brett Dolan will interact with players and coaches during the game and be joined by special guests throughout the broadcast. Sugar Land Manager Gary Gaetti and Lancaster Skipper Butch Hobson will also have the ability to discuss game action, situational strategy and baseball today during the contest.

The 2014 Atlantic League All-Star Game has a new format, as the Sugar Land Skeeters will take on the best of the Atlantic League in a “Texas vs. East Coast” matchup. All-Star festivities will begin on Tuesday, July 15 as Memorial Hermann presents the Atlantic League All-Star Fan Fest featuring a “Pros vs. Joes” whiffle ball game and Kevin Fowler concert for fans to enjoy. The 2014 Atlantic League All-Star Game will take place on Wednesday, July 16th at Constellation Field.
