The Golden Baseball League’s Victoria Seals are indeed done for good. We thought that the move by the Seals to announce they were shutting down might be a Please Don’t Go ploy to get a better lease deal, but that apparently was not the case. The lease complaints by the Seals were too vast to overcome. It makes you wonder why they ever agreed to the deal in the first place, unless they thought they could leverage more favorable lease treatment or a new park after two years.
