PRESS RELEASE – The Victoria Seals are proud to announce that they will be hosting an Open House to kick off spring training at Royal Athletic Park this weekend. The free event will run from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8th.
In coordination with the first day of camp, the Open House will offer a great chance for fans of all ages to get up close and personal with the 2010 Victoria Seals. The event will feature a full on-field training session for the team, an autograph session with field manager Bret Boone, an open concession stand, and much more!
“This is a great opportunity to come down to the ballpark and get a sneak preview of our roster,” said Seals President Darren Parker. “It’s also a fantastic chance to get to know our players, grab a hotdog and even choose your seat for the upcoming season!”
Seamore the Seal will be on hand to pose for photos with his favourite fans, while members of the Seals ticketing staff will also be available to provide visitors with information on single game, flex pack and season tickets.
Saturday’s open house also presents fans with the first opportunity to purchase official 2010 Victoria Seals merchandise, with a selection that includes t-shirts, hoodies and brand new hats for year two. Also available will be exclusive spring training t-shirts, on sale for just $15 each!
The 2010 Victoria Seals season kicks off May 21 when the brand new Na Koa Ikaika Maui arrive at Royal Athletic Park.
