Bluefish Set to Welcome 3-Millionth Fan

Things have not been great in the attendance department over the past few years at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, home of the indy pro Atlantic League’s Bridgeport (CT) Bluefish, but the franchise is a mere 3,570 away from reaching the grand milestone of three-million fans in its 14th season.  Last year, the team ranked #145 in attendance with an average of 2,471 fans per game.  Read more here.

PRESS RELEASE – A milestone moment will take place at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard during the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend, as the Bluefish will welcome their 3-millionth fan in franchise history to the stadium. One lucky fan will have the opportunity to walk through the turnstiles for the 3-millionth time.

“This will be a truly exciting event as 14 seasons of Bluefish baseball will be commemorated,” says Bluefish general manager Bob Goughan. “We would like to thank all the fans that made this possible throughout the years and encourage everyone to take part in Bluefish history this homestand.”

This lucky fan will receive the star treatment and be a member of the Bluefish family for life. They will receive a LIFETIME PASS to any Bluefish game at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, a personalized Bluefish jersey, a Bluefish hat, a team-autographed baseball, an interview on the Bluefish broadcast during the game, a meet-and-greet with manager Willie Upshaw following the game, and the opportunity to throw out a first pitch during Fan Appreciation Weekend.
