Nationals Owners Leave Baseball Operations in GM’s Hands, Team Exploring Spring Training Move

Not much has changed with the baseball operations of the Washington Nationals since team president Stan Kasten left the club last fall.  Team GM and executive vice president of baseball operations Mike Rizzo is in charge, free of meddling by Mark Lerner and the franchise’s other owners.  As previously reported, the Nationals are also exploring moving their spring training operations away from Space Coast Stadium and Viera/Melbourne (FL).  Read more here.
