Roadrunners Announce 2010 Staff

PRESS RELEASE – Edinburg Roadrunners are proud to announce the administrative staff alignment for the 2010 season.  Leading the group will be General Manager, Doug Leary, who begins his second season in charge of all the day to day operations for the team. Leary has over thirty years of experience in sports and entertainment.

Also returning in a similar capacity is Jeremy Martin as the team’s Director of Sales and Marketing. Martin is in his second tour of duty with the organization and is sales veteran in the Rio Grande Valley.

Serving as the new Office Manager in 2010 will be Alejandra Cobos. Alex, as she is known around the office is also involved with the club’s community relations department in an effort to get more non-profit organizations involved with the team this season.

Rowdy’s Roadhouse will once again be in good hands as Elva Garza returns for her fourth season at the ballpark and her second as the team’s Merchandise Manager.

The new Concession Manager this year will be Estella De La Cruz, who has worked for Roadrunners and Coyotes dating back to 2005.

Rejoining the Edinburg Roadrunners staff after a few years absence is Rudy Rodriguez, who has accepted a position as an Account Executive for the team.

Jesse Gonzales better known as the “Mayor of the Edinburg Baseball Stadium” will be back at his familiar post as he enters his 10th year on the job as the Director of Ticket Operations.

Interns for the 2010 season will be Alessandra Almanza (Media Relations), Christa Villa (Office Administration & Marketing), and Samantha Perales (Sales & Marketing).

Opening Day 2010 is schedule for late May.
