Gold Sox to Cease Operations Unless New Ownership is Formed

PRESS RELEASE – CSH International announced today that the Yuba Sutter Gold Sox will cease operations on November 30th after spending the last three seasons as a member of the Great West League (GWL) unless a new ownership group led by Vice-President / General Manager Michael Mink can be formed.

Marysville Gold Sox: Unique Model, Continued Success

Tom Lininger purchased the summer collegiate Marysville Gold Sox (formerly Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox) from Bob Bavasi back in 2007, and the franchise hasn’t skipped a beat.  Except for a single two-game road trip, the Gold Sox continue to play a very unique 46-game home-only schedule as part of its Horizon Air Summer Series at Appeal-Democrat Park.  Read more here.

Gold Sox Set to Begin 10th Season, Unveil Logo

The summer collegiate Marysville (CA) Gold Sox will open their 10th anniversary season when the team takes the field at Appeal-Democrat Park on May 24.  The Gold Sox operation is a unique one, as the team plays a 47-game, home-only schedule as the host of the Horizon Air Summer Series.  Read more about the team’s history here.
