Godfather Media Inc. has acquired 60-percent control of the indy pro Orange County/Fullerton Flyers (North American League). The team sat out the 2011 season, while the ownership group led by Alan Mintz continued to work on a new ballpark deal with the City of Fullerton (CA). Maui Under New Ownership
It was announced on Saturday that the Golden Baseball League’s Na Koa Ikaika Maui baseball team has been acquired by Hawaii Baseball, LLC, an ownership group made of Harris Tulchin, Leroy Pettigrew, and Bob Young. Formal Announcement Expected Tomorrow for GBL Team in Maui
At an announcement tomorrow, the mayor of Maui is expected to sign off on an agreement that will allow XnE, Inc. to use Iron Maehara Baseball Stadium as the home for a new expansion franchise from the independent Golden Baseball League. Read more here.

XnE, Inc. Adds Hawaiian Islands to Portfolio
XnE, Inc. (aka Xcellence in Entertainment) has announced that it has paid $800,000 to acquire the exclusive rights to operate four Golden Baseball League franchises on the Hawaiian Islands. The first team is expected to be located on Maui at War Memorial Complex. Read more here.
