Following a banner 2018 season, during which the Dash led all High-A teams in attendance and topped the Carolina League in wins, the Winston-Salem franchise has been honored as the Class A recipient of the Bob Freitas Award, recognizing the top overall operation at each level of the Minor Leagues by Baseball America. Johnson Named Dash GM
PRESS RELEASE – C.J. Johnson will become president and general manager of the Winston-Salem Dash effective October 13, 2017 following the departure of long-time president Geoff Lassiter. Johnson joined the Dash in October 2012 as vice president, ticket sales. Lassiter has been named president of the Minor League Baseball’s Carolina League, which has ten member teams, including the Winston-Salem Dash. Continue reading

Dash Break Single-Game Attendance Record
A record crowd of 8,184 showed up at BB&T Ballpark in Winston-Salem (NC) on the 4th of July, as the Single-A Winston-Salem Dash (Carolina League) were shut out 5-0 by the Wilmington Blue Rocks. Friday night’s crowd surpassed the previous record of 7,576, set last year on Independence Day. Read more here.

Polaski, Sorensen Added to Dash Broadcast Team
