New Sarpy Stadium is Now Werner Park (no relation to Werner Klemperer)

PRESS RELEASE – Werner Park is the name of the new Sarpy County Baseball Park, which will officially open on April 15, 2011. The name was announced by Martie J. Cordaro, Vice President and General Manager of the Omaha Royals at an afternoon news conference held Thursday, November 11, 2010.
