Parkersburg (WV) Mayor Bob Newell announced at tonight’s special City Council meeting that he has signed a cooperative agreement with the owner of the indy pro Washington Wild Things (Frontier League) to start the process of bringing a baseball team and multipurpose stadium to the city.
