PRESS RELEASE – Construction is currently underway to upgrade and update the historic home of the Walla Walla Sweets. Borleske Stadium is undergoing renovations to enhance the fan experience at the ballpark for the upcoming 2018 season.

Walla Walla Sweets Name New GM

PRESS RELEASE – – The Sweets have named a new general manager, promoting assistant general manager Dan Ferguson to the post for the 2018 season. Team president Zachary Fraser, who had returned to the GM role for the 2017 season, is continuing on in his role as president of the Sweets and the Yakima Valley Pippins. Both WCL clubs share the same ownership.

Sweets Hire New Play-By-Play Broadcaster

PRESS RELEASE – Walla Walla has established a tradition in the West Coast League of being the launching point for some of the nation’s best young broadcasters. Play-by-play artists that have started in Sweets Country (#SweetsCountry) now handle play-by-play and other communications responsibilities for properties such as Virginia Tech Athletics (Andrew Allegretta, 2010), Bryant University (Tristan Hobbes, 2011-12), University of Oregon and the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (Zach Bigley, 2015-16).

Sweets GM Stepping Down

PRESS RELEASE – After starting as a game-day employee and serving as the company’s second-longest tenured staff member, Sweets general manager announced today that she will not be returning to the team for the 2017 season.
