Rawhide Announce Front Office Additions
PRESS RELEASE – The Visalia Rawhide announced today the addition of two new faces to the club’s front office staff. Micolette Pena will join the Rawhide as the Manager of Community Relations and will oversee the club’s community appearances and fundraisers. Caitlin Carter will also join the staff as the new Event Coordinator, serving as point person for ballpark events outside of baseball, as well as the continuation of the Play Ball Program. Oktoberfest Last Night at Recreation Park
About 1,400 people enjoyed beer and brats last night at Recreation Park, home of the Single-A Visalia Rawhide (California League), for Visalia’s 2011 Oktoberfest celebration. Visalia Rawhide Benefit from Stadium Renovations
The Visalia Rawhide from the Single-A California League saw a record-breaking per game average attendance of 1,525 this year on the heels of $11.5 million in renovations to Recreation Park. While the team still ranked near the bottom of our attendance Mega-Rankings at #199, it was a significant jump up from 971 per game and a #245 ranking in 2008. Team owner Tom Seidler estimates that the Rawhide will generate $1.38 million in revenue in 2010. Read more here.
