Group to Pitch Virginia Beach Ballpark Tuesday
The group wanting to build a new $50 million, 5,000-seat ballpark near the Virginia Beach Sportsplex for an indy pro Atlantic League franchise will present their plan to the city council on Tuesday. The council is set to vote on the deal February 11. If approved, Virginia Beach Professional Baseball LLC hopes to start construction in June and have the fields and stadium completed by June 2015.
