Own a Piece of Centennial Field History
The Single-A Vermont Lake Monsters (New York-Penn League) are selling off most of the old wooden-slatted seats behind home plate at historic Centennial Field, as ballpark upgrades continue. Shipping is far too expensive, so the seats are only available for pick up. We snagged two sets ourselves. Centennial Field Gets Playing Surface Makeover

Centennial, Lake Monsters Await Findings of Engineering Study
A $50k engineering study to determine the future of Centennial Field, home of the Single-A Vermont Lake Monsters, is underway. To keep the club in Burlington, Centennial will have to be renovated, if the park is structurally sound enough based on the study, or a new park will have to be built. $35k Raised for Ballpark Study
In very short order, $35,000 of the $50,000 needed for a Centennial Field engineering study has been raised. The University of Vermont and the Vermont (Burlington) Lake Monsters have each offered up $15,000, and a private donor has committed $5,000. Engineering Study Proposed for Centennial Field
A committee that was formed to consider options for historic but aging Centennial Field, home of the Single-A Vermont (Burlington) Lake Monsters, is recommending a $50,000 engineering study to determine if the the facility should be renovated or replaced. The Unversity of Vermont, which owns and leases the park to the Monsters, is willing to pony up $15,000. Read more here.
