Concession Workers Vote to Authorize Strike
Concession workers at AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, voted 500-16 Saturday to authorize a strike, although that doesn’t mean a strike is imminent. The vote gives the union leverage, as negotiations for a new contract continue with stadium vendor, Centerplate Inc. The employees have reportedly been working without a contract for three years.
