Eyeing a New Baseball Stadium for Pokes

Despite being taken out of the NCAA tournament Saturday night by the UC Irvine Anteaters in a best-of-three game Super Regional series in Stillwater (OK), Oklahoma State’s baseball resurrection is sparking a renewed enthusiasm to build a new $50 million stadium for the Cowboys as the final project at the OSU Athletic Village.  Read more here.

UC Irvine Boots Superfan, Some Want Him Back

University of California-Irvine baseball Superfan Keith Franklin has been banned from Anteater home games after he rushed the field when Head Coach Mike Gillespie earned his 1,000th career victory.  There appears to be much more to the story, however, including an alleged Facebook fight between Franklin and a major donor to the program.
