It looks like Can-Am League/American Association chief Miles Wolff is interested in developing a new Canadian baseball circuit that would include inter-league play with the Can-Am League. A group of area businessmen are exploring the opportunity to bring a Can-Am League team to Le Stade Municipal in Trois-Rivieres (QC). They have initiated a feasibility study that they do not expect to be completed before March 2011. The stadium in Trois-Rivieres mirrors the home of the Can-Am League’s Quebec Capitales. The Pittsfield (MA) Colonials have renewed their franchise affiliation agreement with the indy pro Can-Am League for the next three years.
