Rangers Buy More Property Around Ballpark

Texas Rangers LogoBallpark Parking Partners, controlled by the owners of the Texas Rangers, have bought 17.6-acre Stonegate Pines mobile home park south of Globe Life Park from former team owner Tom Hicks.  Hicks bought the land in 2007 as part of his plan for the $600 million Glorypark development on parking lots around the stadium.  Read more here.

Texas Rangers Resolve Dispute Over Parking Lots

The Texas Rangers have reached a multi-year agreement with Ballpark Real Estate, a company controlled by former team owner Tom Hicks, for use of the parkings lots around Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.  As you might recall, the Rangers filed suit against Ballpark Real Estate for charging excessive rent.  Read more here.

Rangers, Former Owner in Legal Spat Over Parking (UPDATED)
