Tim Tebow Pursuing Baseball Career, Minor League Teams Engage

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday that the former Heisman Trophy winner and two-time national champion Tim Tebow is pursuing a career in professional baseball. Several minor league teams responded, including the Birmingham Barons (Double-A, Southern League) and Bridgeport Bluefish (Independent Professional, Atlantic League).  Read more here.

‘Tebow Tuesday’ Promo Goes Down with Broncos Loss to Pats

The Single-A Lancaster JetHawks (California League) offered up a “Tebow Tuesday” promotion set for January 17, provided QB Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos were able to pull off a victory over the New England Patriots on Saturday night.  It didn’t happen, as the Broncos were crushed 45-10.  That said, we suspect this won’t be the last Tebow promo moment by teams during the 2012 season.
