The Reading Fightin Phils (Double-A, Eastern League) will celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Sandlot movie on July 1 with special uniforms and a replica of that goofy, extended-bill cap worn by Scotty Smalls. Fans can stick around the ballpark after the final out for a post-game showing of the movie.

T-Bones Celebrate ‘The Sandlot’ Anniversary
The Sandlot writer, director and narrator David Mickey Evans was at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, home of the indy pro Kansas City T-Bones (American Association), Friday night to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the popular film. A Sandlot Sleepover at Rangers Ballpark
On Saturday, May 11, the Texas Rangers are giving fans the unique opportunity to camp out under the stars in the outfield at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. The event will kick off with the Rangers’ road game against the Houston Astros shown on a large display screen, followed by a special screening of The Sandlot movie, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
