Now that the Double-A Huntsville Stars (Southern League) will be relocating to a new ballpark in Biloxi (MS) as the rebranded Biloxi Shuckers, demolition of 30-year-old Joe Davis Stadium, the current home of the Stars/Shuckers, could occur late in 2015. The site is the target location for an indoor athletic complex to serve as anchor for the north end of the ongoing John Hunt Park redevelopment. Continue reading
