Rex Debut in Front of 1,300
The Terre Haute (IN) Rex, one of four new teams in the summer collegiate Prospect League, made their home debut on Thursday in front of 1,300 fans at Bob Warn Field. The Rex lost to the Springfield Sliders 5-2 in 10 innings. Read more here.

Rex Ramping Up for Inaugural Home Opener
The Terre Haute Rex, one of the summer collegiate Prospect League’s four new franchises, are busy scrambling with excitement and anticipation to prepare for their home debut on June 3 against the Springfield (IL) Sliders. Everything seems to be coming together nicely for the new club, but there is still plenty to do. Read more here.

Terre Haute’s Storied Ballpark History
Tribune-Star reporter Mark Bennett takes a look back at minor league baseball in Terre Haute and 16,000-capacity Memorial Stadium that opened in 1925 and was leveled in 1969. Minor league-style baseball will return to Terre Haute this season as the Prospect League’s Terre Haute Rex begin play at the new Bob Warn Field on the campus of Indiana State University. Terre Haute Rex Unveil New Logo
The summer collegiate Prospect League’s new team in Terre Haute, IN, has just released its new logo. It was created by the design team from the Clabber Girl Corporation. Read more here. As we previously reported, the team was named after Clabber Girl’s Rex® Brand Coffee. Unfortunately, from our perspective, the logo misses the mark.
