A group of Oakland business leaders have abandoned Howard Terminal as a new home for the Oakland A’s, but they haven’t given up on keeping the franchise in the city. In an opinion piece Saturday, T. Gary Rogers, Safeway chairman of the board, and Don Knauss, Clorox Corp. chairman of the board-elect, called for A’s owners to commit to the city or sell the team. Read more here.
