Chase Field Looks to Expand Programming with Arizona State, NCAA

Chase Field opened its gates to Arizona State’s wrestling team on Saturday, Jan. 11, and, in doing so, became the first ballpark to host a collegiate wrestling event in history.  It marked the start of what Chase Field hopes will be an expanded partnership with NCAA athletics, not just for their own venue, but for MLB ballparks across the country.  Read more here.

Sun Devils Close Packard Stadium Era Tonight

The Arizona State University Sun Devils will play their final regular-season home game at Packard Stadium Tuesday, May 20, against Abilene Christian.  The team will be giving away the sixth and final “Tip Your Cap” commemorative poster to fans as they enter the front gate.  The Sun Devils will begin playing at Phoenix Municipal Stadium next season.  Read more here.

Sun Devils to Make Move Official Today

Arizona State baseball’s move to Phoenix Municipal Stadium from Packard Stadium will become official Tuesday when the school formally announces an agreement with the City of Phoenix that begins in 2015.  Read more here.
