The Las Vegas Aviators (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League) opened their new ballpark in Summerlin (NV) Tuesday night in front of a crowd of 11,036. They also introduced two new mascots — Spruce the Goose and Mr. Aviator. Read more and watch news report here. Grass was laid down at the Las Vegas Ballpark Thursday, just weeks before the Las Vegas Aviators (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League) are scheduled to start playing there. Opening day is April 9 when the Aviators will play Sacramento at 7:05 p.m. Read more here.
