Intertwining baseball and Huntsville’s (AL) space legacy heritage, the Rocket City Trash Pandas (Double-A, Southern League) have revealed the name of the team’s mascot — “Sprocket.” While a sprocket is a wheel with teeth or cogs, it’s also a colloquial shorthand for the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville.
