CDA Council to Vote Tonight on West Coast League Team

The Coeur d’Alene (ID) City Council will vote Tuesday night on a recommendation by the General Services Committee to endorse the concept of bringing a summer collegiate West Coast League team to the city as the anchor tenant for the new sports facility at Cherry Hill by the 2014 season.

Irv Zakheim, owner of the summer collegiate West Coast League’s dormant RiverHawks franchise, has reached an agreement with Bobby Brett to form a new partnership that will guide the club as efforts to advance the development of a new ballpark in Coeur d’Alene (ID) continue.
