RedWolves, FMU Extend Partnership

The summer collegiate Florence RedWolves (Coastal Plain League) and Francis Marion University have reached a deal allowing the team to continue playing at Sparrow Stadium for the next two seasons.  The ‘Wolves moved from 44-year-old American Legion Field to FMU in July, where they played their final 10 home games.  Read more and view stadium photo here.  Thanks to John Cerone for the news.

RedWolves Anticipating Move to New University Ballpark

Kevin Barth, owner of the summer collegiate Florence RedWolves (Coastal Plain League), stated yesterday that a deal to move his team from American Legion Field to the new Sparrow Stadium at Francis Marion University is nearly complete.  The team could play its first game at Sparrow in early July.  Read more here.  View Sparrow Stadium video here.  Thanks to John Cerone for the story link.
