Kingfish Announce Stadium Improvements, Bobblehead Line-Up

Kenosha Kingfish LogoPRESS RELEASE – At the First Pitch Event, the Kingfish unveiled a new digital scoreboard that will be installed beyond the right centerfield fence. Following the 2014 season, the Kingfish conducted a fan survey with more than 1,000 participants. The number one request for improving the fan experience was an upgraded scoreboard. Kenosha Kingfish Reel in 3,218 Fans for Inaugural Home Opener at Renovated Simmons Field

Kenosha City Council Approves Simmons Field Parking Plan, 3,218 Capacity

Contractor Chosen for Simmons Field Renovations

Lease Deal Approved for New Kenosha Franchise

The Kenosha (WI) Board of Park Commissioners voted 4-1 this week to approve a deal with the owners of the Madison Mallards and Wisconsin Rapids Rafters to lease a renovated Simmons Field for a new summer collegiate Northwoods franchise starting in 2014.  A final decision will be made during the Common Council meeting next week.  Read more here.

Deal to Bring Northwoods League to Kenosha Being Finalized

Simmons Field at Taylor Stadium Named Field of the Year

PRESS RELEASE – Simmons Field at Taylor Stadium, the home of the Mizzou baseball team, has been named 2011 College and University Baseball Field of the Year by the Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA), as announced by the STMA on Tuesday (Nov. 22).
