Funds, Contract Approved for New Boilermakers’ Ballpark

The Purdue University Board of Trustees have approved funding for a new 2,500-seat, $21 million ballpark to replace 1,100-seat Lambert Field.  A construction contract with Indianapolis-based Shiel Sexton Co. was also approved for the project.  The stadium is expected to be completed by April 2012.  Read more here.  View renderings here.  View virtual tour here.
