Segra Stadium to Host Inaugural Armed Forces Invitational

The Inaugural Armed Forces Invitational will be played at Segra Stadium, home of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers (Single-A, Carolina League), in downtown Fayetteville (NC) starting February 28 until March 1.  The teams competing in the three-day tournament will be the Army Black Nights, Air Force Falcons, and Campbell Fighting Camels.  Read more here.

Fans Get First Look at New Fayetteville Ballpark

More than 2,500 people walked into Segra Stadium Saturday as part of a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new $40.2 million ballpark, which will be home to the Fayetteville Woodpeckers (Single-A, Carolina League).   Read more here.

Woodpeckers Begin Moving In

It may be hard to tell by looking at it from the street, but Fayetteville’s (NC) new baseball stadium downtown is complete to the point that the Fayetteville Woodpeckers (Single-A, Carolina League) began moving into its part of the building last week.  Read more here.
