Remembering Seals Stadium

Peter Hartlaub, a pop culture critic at the San Francisco Chronicle, has put together a photo tribute to Seals Stadium, an 18,500-seat ballpark built in 1931 near the center of San Francisco.  The stadium served as the home of Triple-A San Francisco Seals (Pacific Coast League) and briefly the San Francisco Giants before it was demolished in 1959.  Read more and view photos here.
