Bearkats Getting New Video Board

PRESS RELEASE – Bud Haney and Don Sanders, both Bearkat alums, have made possible the addition of a new video/scoreboard at Sam Houston State’s modern baseball facility. Installation of the top-of-the-line board by Daktronics is set to begin this summer to be ready for the 2014 Bearkat baseball season at Don Sanders Stadium.

Frisco’s Dr. Pepper Ballpark to Host Football Championship Game Pep Rally

The North Dakota State University Bison have moved their 1-AA (FCS) championship game pep rally from a smaller venue to Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco (TX), home of the Double-A Frisco Roughriders (Texas League).  The Bison will take on the Sam Houston State Bearkats again for the division championship at FC Dallas Stadium in Frisco on Jan. 5.  Read more here.
