Judge Dismisses Safety Netting Lawsuit

MLB Chief: No New Netting Rules Coming

Major League Baseball LogoSpeaking to members of the Baseball Writers Association of America before last night’s All-Star Game, commissioner Rob Manfred said Major League Baseball is unlikely to make league-wide changes to the regulations defining netting at ballparks until at least next season, if at all.  According to Manfred, individual teams are still free to do whatever they want in their own ballparks.  Read more here.
