Golden Stadium Chair for 10 Millionth Fan

UFL’s Mountain Lions Play First Game at Raley Field
As we reported back in August, the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League worked a deal to play their entire 2012 home schedule at Raley Field, home of the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats (Pacific Coast League). The team played its first home game Friday night against the Omaha Nighthawks in front of an announced crowd of 8,023. Read more here.

Art Savage Memorialized at Raley Field
This past Saturday, family, friends and fans gathered at Raley Field to bid a final farewell to Art Savage, the owner of the Sacramento River Cats. Mr. Savage passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 21 at age 58. The Cats have been one of minor league baseball’s top franchises since it was launched in West Sacramento in 2000. Read more here.
